Harry's Bullying Them Again
The simple copywriting technique to separate yourself from your competitors (and become the clear, best choice)
Watch Harry Dry rewrite an ad twenty times.
It's a cool video.
My favourite part is when Harry shows the old VW ad example.
The goal of this ad is to show how easy a VW car is compared to ordinary cars.
Works great.
If you hate doing all the things on the left, the VW is instantly appealing.
You can use this same technique in your social posts in loads of different ways.
I call it Bullying.
I call it that because you're bullying your competitors to show how your product or way of thinking is way better than theirs.
(not because you're giving nerds swirlies and stealing their lunch money)
One way to use Bullying in your social content is to demonstrate your point of view.
For example, my point of view is that I don't write content to go viral and get famous, I write it to attract clients, drive revenue and make money.
So to communicate that, I could use Bullying like this:
Another way is to demonstrate the result I get for clients vs my competitors.
Like this:
Or you could use it to bully common, bad advice and show your expertise.
Like this:
Anyway you use this...
It's an incredibly smart and simple way to seperate yourself from the riff raff.
And show why your way is best.
And show why your product is best.
Time to start Bullying.
Cheers,
Matt The Bully Barker
